You may remember the charming and handsome Simon from a sunny day some months ago when I photographed him in Brooklyn under the Carrol Street bridge. Well, here he is again, in all his hunky glory.

On January 5 this year, Arthur Richard Washington was taken from us. At only 20 years old, he died of kidney failure and left behind a large family and several heartbroken friends. I want to take this time to send out my love and support to everyone who knew and loved Arthur, especially Simon and Greg, two of his best friends, and two of my best friends. You guys are so strong and graceful in this terrible time, and I’m sure Arthur would be proud of your fortitude.

Couldn’t have asked for a better one. Surrounded by friends and family, filled with happiness and warmth, overflowing with wine and champagne. Here’s to 2009, we have nowhere to go but up.

I realize that it’s been a while since I updated this site, and for this I offer my most sincere apologies. Pimpin’ ain’t easy. Just kidding. I’ve been busy with school work, trying to get a new job (Tour Bus Guide!), and dealing with the various curve balls which life seems to throw.

Rest assured, I’m getting a new lens for Horace (my camera) and plan to have some gems up here in the next few weeks.

I traded my Nikon D40 for a cute little Canon point-and-shoot this week, and got some fun albeit interesting photos. Sometimes a little blur and noise makes a picture all the more creepy:

I just want to take this time to congratulate my country. Finally, we pulled together and made an honorable decision. This might be the first time in my life I’m proud to be American. I hope the feeling lasts.
