Into the Woods

April 6th, 2008 by Becca

For this semester’s Crew Assignment, my job was to be Fly Captain for Into the Woods at the Merriam Theater.  Being Fly Captain, for those of you who live under a rock, means that I call the cues for any scenery that is flown in during the show. So when you see a house on stage go up into the ceiling, I’m in charge of it. Not all the time, just for this show.  =p

Anyway, a lot of my job involves sitting around and making dirty jokes to the Stage Manager over headset. I decided to use this time more productively and take some photos. As you peruse these shots, please keep in mind that I was way up in the air at a strange angle. Otherwise, enjoy! (and remember, comments are much appreciated.)
